We recently had an absolute blast getting our hands on a true drag strip legend: a 2018 COPO Camaro in that stunning Red Hot finish. After running a few hard rounds at the track, this beast was definitely in need of some professional attention. Track days take a heavy toll, and the exterior was covered in rough, embedded contaminants, but a thorough clay bar treatment made short work of the grime.
The real challenge, however, was tackling the dreaded swirl marks that were hiding the car's true potential. By dialing in a moderate paint correction, we were able to make those pesky swirls disappear entirely and bring that brilliant shine right back to the surface, protected with a 1-year ceramic coating. Now, the paint is as smooth as glass and looking truly RED HOT once again. The team at 2-Bucket Auto Detail couldn't be happier with the transformation, and this purpose-built machine is fully prepped and ready to hit the track for its next pass.
